20-40 live hand
Villain is weak/loose if that is even possible. Calling station that only raised with a premium hand, and never raised the flop all nite. He has also folded to min raises to his blind nearly everytime. This hand occurred that had me confused.
Hero is the button, villain is SB. It is four handed. Dealt QsQc, UTF folds to me, I raise, SB folds and BB calls. Flop is 10 :spade:-6 :diamond:-4 :spade:. Hero raises, BB reraises, raise, cap, call. Turn is the 9 . Hero raises, villain reraises, hero....? |

Re: 20-40 live hand
confuses the hell out of me too, you say the SB is villian and folds preflop, then gives you a lot of action.... should be an easy one to take down

Re: 20-40 live hand
If he's super aggro, his action on the flop could mean As 6s, or maybe something like 7s 8s. It is also possible he puts you on AK and has a small piece of the flop and thinks he can get you out of the hand.

[/ QUOTE ] If the villain is as passive as you say than why are you giving him all that action on the flop. By the way I cant understand that flop action but lets say you bet the flop and he checkraises, at this point you should just call down. Vs most opponents I would 3 bet here but this opponent is different. In the casino I play in, I play with lots of very weak passive people who will only play back at me if they have a set(yes it is heaven) and this guy sounds like that type. With a high pocket pair heads up, I still wouldnt fold but once this opponent shows aggression my plan is to get to the showdown as cheaply as possible. Raising the turn was also terrible for the same reasons as your flop actions, and once youre reraised you have to fold, you cannot call down here, he has a set! |
