party.

no question, imo, esp given the current fatty reload bonus. deposit the $100 you'll need to get most affiliate 100% match bonuses, clear it, withdraw, and deposit your (hopefully now $600) roll back to get the current 25% match to $150 (gotta be deposited by the sixth, i think).... clear that, and, with breakeven play, your $500 roll will be $750 in a week- which is enough to play 1/2 limit and $50 PL/NL.

nice, huh?

Party's great, but be sure to learn about rakeback and bonus whoring before depositing any money online!

thanks for the advice everyone, i would like to start a rakeback deal with party or empire i really dont know what the best one would be.

i have read winning low limit holdem 2 times and am in the process of reading small stakes holdem for the 2nd time. i want to be really prepared to go in there fighting.

i dont know if it would be best to jump straight into the 1-2 game with only 250BB or to stay at .5-1 for a couple months before making that jump. any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

im looking forward to getting started at the end of sept. in my quest to make some money!!

1/2 at party is a strange limit, sometimes filled with whores and grinders, it can be harder to beat than 2/4 at times.

I'd reccomend getting your feet wet at .50/1, at least until you have 300BBs for 1/2. slow and stead wins the race and all that.

For those wondering why this might be the case, the reason is because of how Party's rake structure works with regards to clearing bonuses. A raked hand kicks in more frequently at $1/$2 so it takes far fewer hands to actually complete the bonus. Thus, you get players who normally play $2/$4 and $3/$6 playing at $1/$2 when there is a bonus.
