Default Aussie Millions Shows First Five Hands Raise and Take Blinds

I am watching the Aussie Millions now in eastern US on won of the sports channels. They seem to be showing all the final table hands, since the first five hands were raise and take it. I guess it's a British production, so less commercial than US style.

Fox Sports Net is the channel, with Barry Tompkins/John Vorhaus providing commentary from afar.

How would you rate the commentary, given the latest debates on the topic?

In my opinion, it's slightly better than the Rose/Konik duo.

I saw a little of this last night, but I have to say that either Vorhaus or the production is terrible!! (and I have nothing against him: I am amused by his books) Every time I watch him commenting, he makes at least one major mistake, usually in less than 10 minutes (which is generally all I can stand).

In the Aussie Million, it went something like this: player X had QJ, player Y had A7, flop comes Q7x. Comment was player X has flopped low pair, top kicker (no, top pair, good kicker, QQ w J) and Y had top pair, decent kicker (no, middle pair with top kicker, 77 with A)!! Now I would just say he's got the wrong hole cards, but I've heard him say similar things on the crappy Ultimate Bet show: his comments don't necessarily match what is actually happening. And in the case of the Aussie show, it was clear that they weren't pulling an ESPN and making up or switching holecards (you could see the players' hands and even sometimes faces with the under-the-table cam).

Is it the producer's fault? And why does no one notice? It drives me crazy -- more so than the ex-wife or xxx-song going off in his head.

Clearly, I watch too much TV.
