I probably don't get a J to fold, but if he had something like Ac 8c, or 99 he might fold.

I don't know if the correct term is "semi-bluffing" in this situation... but I used it because I may be able to get a better hand to fold, but not to get the best hand to fold.

However, should I just check because it's unlikely that a worse hand will call? If I bet less than 500 here, maybe I'll get 66 or KcQc to call, but then Ac8c would also call.

check. it looks like he was on a club draw, but why waste chips if he has a J or an 8
