Overpair vs. a Raise on the Turn
Read on villain is 11.5/9.5/2.5 but only after 40 hands.
Everything is pretty standard up until the turn. At this point am I calling or re-raising? Re: Overpair vs. a Raise on the Turn
I'm just calling this down.
With all the aggression preflop and on the flop, it looks like you're up against a big PP, and you only win against QQ. |

Re: Overpair vs. a Raise on the Turn
That looks like TJ to me. It's possible he donked the Flush draw on the Flop so you can probably add A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to the list.
I think it's less likely this type of player would have flopped a big hand like Trips or 2pair, but it is a remote possibility. |

Re: Overpair vs. a Raise on the Turn
I say call the river check-raise, do not 3 bet? Why? It's almost always a very good indicator of strength, but he may be bluffing the failed heart draw 1 in 10 times. Sadly, if you raise, I see you getting capped here, and I don't think you're ahead of this kind of river agression 25% of the time.
