What makes the rake so bad at Motor City is that they usually keep two short-handed tables going at night, so you're playing 6-handed hold'em with a $6 rake. They dont lower it. Greektown is a little better, at least they lower it to $3 max short handed. Try beating a 6 or 7 handed $5-$10 game with a $6 rake + $1 bb. I think it's almost impossible.
