PBS Program: Spy

Looks like the first episode. Seems like a sort of bizarre reality show purportedly about spy training school. Of course, since the whole thing is being filmed constantly, none of the participants could possibly be spies now or later.

"What you are going to learn is how to manipulate other people ... to watch others without their knowing you're watching them ... "

Okay, I'll suspend disbelief and buy in, even though it does have a hokey "we really are spies here" aspect to it. But it's kind of fun already -- these guys and women are sent through London and given covers they immediately and repeatedly blow given the slightest chance. Should be funny seeing how sharp the students are and wonder whether you'd get tripped up the same way, maybe lie to yourself about it.

I'm along for the ride! Next up: they are going to burgle someplace.
