It can not be THAT actively maitained -- the only bugs fixed are from the PP HH changes.

From a security POV, I would not run the handconverter on a public webserver until the program was completely refactored. I already found a couple of really stupid bugs that could be used as exploits, and given the loose way it handles and verifies data there are probably plenty more to be found.

Well, as a software engineer, I would have to concur.
