problems with poker tracker
I have th pt program but can't get it to work. I have figured out how to load hand histories sent to my e-mail, but i would like to be able to use the program during play. The game time + and poker ace hud are also not working for me. Does anyone know of a comprehensive faq that would help me to figure out how to use this program in real time?

Re: problems with poker tracker
with most sites you should just be reading the hh from your hard disk
for example at Party you just make sure that you have the write hh to hard-drive option turned on then fire up PT HUD fire up PT - click the Party icon on the toolbar, set to import every 1 or 2 minutes and hit the start timer button and you should be away |

Re: problems with poker tracker
this post - about the Poker Tracker guide
1 - get the guide (from the pt site) 2- go to the poker tracker forum at the poker tracker site. Pat, the developer is really amazing with customer service, although I would be willing to gurantee that if you spend some time actually reading a few posts and perhaps the stickies you will answer all of your own questions. 3.before posting on any forum i would suggest two things: a) read it for awhile first (in this case, you would discover numerous existing posts about PT in the first couple of pages) b) use the search function before posting as you are new, let me demonstrate, as the search function is slight different than google for example... ..into the search field type: +poker +tracker -re: the + sign limits the results to only those including the those words and of course the - sign limits the results to those without those words....in this case the results show only original posts and not all of the replies now, select a specific time period...let's say newer than 6 months also you could choose a specific forum or keep it open for a broader search now if you were to read, a fraction of number of posts listed in the results of a general search such as this you would undoubtably learn of the poker tracker forum and possibly find the specific information you seek immediately. anyway in the future, i recommend engaging the search function as you are much more likely to find the information you seek and as an additional benefit, avoid the unfortunate sin of posting a question that may have been previously asked and answered many many times before. perhaps consider giving it a whirl over at the PT site? cheers and welcome to the forums, the Real Macoy |
