Played like a nancy?
PArty 30. Small blind is a total monkey 64/17/1.7 UTG+1 is 25/12/1.4, HJ is 21/16/1.8
UTG +1 rasies, I three bet 2 seats later with JJ, HJ caps, SB donkey calls 3.5 cold, UTG + 1 calls. Flop is Qxx, two clubs (not the Q). Donkey bets, call call call. Hmm. Donkey has Q or flush draw for sure. I just called becasue I wanted to see what capper was gonna do. Know I know he cant beat a Q yet. Turn is 9h. Bet, call. I pause for a while thinking this has to be a raise right? At the time I convince myself to just call thinking - yes I would like to fold out AK from HJ for sure here and I would like to charge the club draws, BUT... 1) I am burining chips to a Q. 2) There is decent chance UTG+1 has AK, AJ, ATs so at best I am cleaning out only 2-3 outs by getting rid of HJ. 3) HJ folds 99 & 1010 which I prefer he didnt. I am thinking now that a turn raise is better but I didnt think so at the time, what you guys think? |

Re: Played like a nancy?
I'd raise here. I definitely dont want any money going in on the river though. I think calling is almost as bad as folding (frankly I don't like any of the 3 options all that much but we have to pick one anyway lol).
