Re: These types of KK situations
The problem with folding these spots when you *fear* AA... is that you will be losing a LOT of equity the times they have QQ/AJ/1010 or basically any other hand you have locked up.
Sometimes you will walk into Aces, but its better to walk into AA 1 in 36 (or whatever the figure is) then folding situations where you are scared of AA, when you are in fact miles ahead. If he has AA... pay the man his money |

Re: These types of KK situations
Would anybody have considered pushing preflop after the BB reraises?

Would anybody have considered pushing preflop after the BB reraises? [/ QUOTE ] I would have, or at least put in another re-raise. I want this pot heads up and I don't want to give the button good odds to follow. I would give serious consideration to pushing here, and given that any re-raise pretty much commits you to the hand I doubt I would do anything BUT push here. -Rizen |

Gotta push that post flop. You can't be afraid of monsters under the bed. |

Re: These types of KK situations
Yeah, I actually abide by the 36-1 rule myself, and on this hand I did push the flop and was called by QQ and my kings held up. I was just curious if this is how to play it every single time, no matter what.
