Potentially messed-up situation with Legends ME Draw
Apparently, Day 1A is sold out with super-satellite winners and online qualifiers, meaning that Day 1B will be stocked with all the players buying in for cash.
How much of a disadvantageous (EV-wise) situation does this create for those of us planning on buying in today whose name isn't Brunson or Seidel. I figure I'll still play, but I consider this a farsical oversight in scheduling. |

OUCH! It may not be so bad. I bet a lot of the players will be regular limit players who only come out for the bigger events. Hell, the online sat players probably play NL tournies all day long.

Re: Potentially messed-up situation with Legends ME Draw
Well, I register this morning, and they told me day 1A was sold out, so I'm starting tomorrow Sunday, but then half an hour later, scott8 went to register and they give him the "choice" to play Saturday or Sunday, go figure.
Yes, most probably tomorrow is gonna be thougher. |

Re: Potentially messed-up situation with Legends ME Draw
I went down there around 2PM and they gave me the choice of starting days, also.
Despite the rumors of field-strength disparity I chose day 2, since I'm recovering from Strep Throat and had kind of a hectic morning. Considering that today's lineup seemed pretty stacked, I'm sure tomorrow won't be THAT much tougher than today. Of course, it would have been nice if they had their sh*t together and could come up with a way to generate truly random seating, but maybe next year. |
