Default sandwiched between two LP

Couple of sessions recently I was sandwiched in between two very loose/passive types. I thought that would translate into a profitable table, but it didn't work out that way, perhaps simply because I wasn't hitting flops.

But maybe I had the wrong approach. Is there any particular strategy when right in the middle of 2 LPs, or is it as simple as value-betting?

Default Re: sandwiched between two LP

I was at a table with a guy who would call down any pair HU and almost always bet when checked to. I dropped a ton of money to him when I was OOP with something like AQ and would wiff on the flop and turn, simply because I hated having to check/fold my A-high on the turn.

Once I started hitting, though, he was an ATM. I value-bet him to death, and mixed in some turn check/raises to discourage him from betting when checked to all the time. That was a nice side benefit, but the biggest thing was just value betting.
