Default Overpair runs into a stubborn raiser + calling station

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (9.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (18.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 20.25 BB

I woulda started slowing down on the turn, but the calling station just made it way too damn profitable not to... no?

Have a read? Calling station be damned, raising consistently here seems to be building up someone else's pot. I think you can slow down when he bets the turn.

I would have suspected a set when BB 3-bet the flop.

So I would have preferred to call down from then, in case BB was overplaying Qx.

Yea, I mean it was kinda awkward for me... I have UTG+1 on QT/QJ clubs, and BB on 2 pair or a flush draw, I wasnt really sure what he had, but I dont know if the lost bet is made up for when the calling station is donating with us...

Turns out BB had Q6 and got counterfeited, my kings up are good
