Bay 101 20/40. I saw this hand last night and the river is still puzzling me.

Folded to Dave on the Button who raises 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Erratic, usually passive stuck BB calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB checks, Dave bets, BB calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB checks, Dave bets, BB calls.

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB checks, Dave bets....

Hopefully I didn't mess anything up. I think the salient details are correct.

I made a similar bet on a short handed table day before yesterday and immediately wished I hadn't. I'm not puzzled so much as I disagree with the bet.

I expect the bettor will say that a paired 6 or worse will call making this a value bet. I disagree that this happens better than 50% of the time.'

And a better hand that called down isn't going to decide to fold here ever.

i'm not saying i agree with the bet, but sfer is thinking that a lone 6 isn't coming this far just to fold
