I think I have to check here. A lot of the hands that he check-calls the flop and turn with have you beat.

Just be happy when he turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]...

I'd push. The only hands that beat you are two hearts, a set of queens or a set of kings. I think most would reraise PF with QQ or KK, and on the off chance that you do lose, you're still not the short stack.

How about 10 J suited? His play tells us he had a very good drawing hand, or has us beat outright (QQ or, unlikely, KK)

Check and be happy to win.

I'm waitig for people better than me to reply to this one, but while we wait, here's what I'm thinking. I'd push. It seems like there are two scenarios that fit the betting so far. Either your opponent has a lowish pocket pair and thinks you missed the flop, or he's slowplaying a set of 2s. In the first scenario, the king is scary to him and he's likely to fold to almost any decent sized bet...but a push looks more like a bluff, so I think it has the best chance of getting called and gets you the most chips if it is called. In the second scenario he's probably going to call anything.

i don't give credit for him being that good on the flop or turn. if he had a set, i'm sure he'd pop it on the turn with that draw heavy board and we'd end up with the money in the middle.

UTG has about 10-12K left, so if he pushes on a value bet, we're forced to call.

I check behind every time here. A lot of draws got there on the river, and if he has two clubs, he's not calling for even one more chip. This seems like a position where if you're best, UTG folds the river and you gain no information. If he got there and you bet this river, you're going to throw up on yourself when you get raised.

Only hand that I see calling/raising the river with a hand you beat is QK from a bad player.
