KK cracked by a suckout... Argh!
$6/$12 limit at Harvey's.
BB - $105 Villian - $75 UTG - $270 Hero - $160 Hero was sitting in seat 4 and the villian of the story was in seat 10. Villian was in the SB and Hero was in middle position. UTG called, and seats 2 and 3 folded to Hero. Hero looks at his hole cards and see K:club:, shuffles them and sees K:spade:. Hero raises to $12. Seats 5-8 fold and BB, Villian, and UTG all call (pot is at $48). The game is now 4 handed. Flop shows 10:diamond:, 2:club:, 3:heart:. Great flop for Hero? BB checks, Villian bets ($6), UTG calls, Hero raises (to $12) BB folds, Villian calls and UTG calls ($84 pot). 9:spade: on the turn. UTG bets into Hero ($12). UTG on AK, AQ since he's been a tight player all night only playing Hellmuth's Top 10. I call and Villian raises ($24). Hero figures Villian is sitting on nothing, or has a pair of nothing. UTG regretfully folds his hand ($144 pot) (facial expression shows A/K). Hero just calls (mistake). The river shows 9:club:. Hero bets ($12). Villian goes "I'm all-in" like on TV(re-raising with his last $24). So for an extra $12 Hero quickly calls. Villian starts to get up to go while turning over Q:club:9:heart: I figure Hero only made one mistake, not re-raising the turn. What do you think? The Board - 10:diamond: 2:club: 3:heart: 9:spade: 9:club: |
