Default 75o blind defense

SB is 18/18/3 after 50 hands. We were sort of on the tight end of the table, if I'm remembering correctly. Edit: I guess, actually, we were sort of the tight end of the table.

But once in awhile, no one outside the blinds has anything resembling a hand:

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

River: (8 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 9 BB

What do you think?

I'm kind of tempted to check through the turn.

against someone that's seemingly that tight I think you ought to check behind on the turn. the pot is small, you'd like to seee a showdown, you have lots of outs, and the chances that you bet his KK for him (which accomplishes nothing the times you miss) or you get checkraised are high. you also might get him to bluff or pay off with K high

against a lot of people I wait for the turn to raise. it's kind of spewing but they're often spewing and when you have 7 high the only way to combat spewing is with more spewing. gut shot and a "pair draw" is usually enough to raise with.
