I've already finished with the hassle of picking out #of chips /per color.
Now, I have a question on what type of cards to get. I've already decided on Copag brand cards, but there is 4 different styles. Which one do I chose? What's the difference between a bicycle deck and a poker deck? What's the difference between Jumbo and Regular cards? http://www.5stardeal.com/deals/10Browse.asp The 8 different decks I'm deciding between. |

[/ QUOTE ] http://www.chessset.com/chess4u/coplplca.html I gave you a better link, that actually goes to Copag cards with a wider selection of styles. I've had good experiences with their customer service. "What's the difference between a bicycle deck and a poker deck? " Did you mean bridge and poker? The poker cards are somewhat wider. If you meant Bicycle, those are paper cards (or plastic coated paper cards)- not what you want "What's the difference between Jumbo and Regular cards? " This refers to the index/pip size. Use the link above, you can see some examples. For a closer look at the pip sizes and other general information, use this Kem link http://www.kem.com/kemorder.html |

Thank you. Yes, I meant bridge cards and not bicycle.

I have a set of green/blue poker size 1546 copags. I really like the design, but I think I would have liked the green/burgandy colors better. I actually prefer these to the feel of the KEM cards I bought - the KEM's felt flimsier and "less substantial."
I also have a set of modiano blackjack's (poker size) on order www.caragails.com. You may want to check out some reviews here: http://www.homepokertourney.com/cards_review.htm steve <font color="orange">North Shore Low Rollers</font> |

How well do these hold up with players who bend corners? I have several guys at my home game that do this and ruin a deck in about 30 minutes of play.

If they don't crease, they'll snap back. If they do crease, you have all the evidence you need to beat the [censored] out of the cheaters.
