Default Slumps

Hey --

Just a question for you guys who play quite regularly. I've been playing seriously (I don't want to say professionally because I'm not there yet) for about 2 months now and I've been playing pretty much only 22 and 33 2/3 table NLHE MTTs. I made about 3k during these 2 months, and this past week I've just been doing terrible it seems. I just can't win anything and I've dropped 1/3 of my bankroll. If I go in with kings, someone has aces, you know the drill. It seems like recurring bad luck but I'm wondering if its normal to go in to these elongated slumps or maybe I need to reevaluate my play. This may be a stupid question but I'm wondering what you guys have to say about this. Thank you!

-Chris

Normally i would give some type of a-hole comment to this post, but I actually thought about posting something similair this morning. Like you, i quad table the 2-3 table $20's&30's. I have built my roll from 500 to 2800 over the last 6 months. For the last 2 nights i have not cashed once and have dropped $800. Every flopped set was beat by runner runner, aces have not held up not once last night (4 hands and all in on preflop). I had 2 flopped boats beat, and a nut flush rivered by a boat. I am not complaining (well may be just a bit). but thats poker man, and it hurts. Whenever i have a run like this, i start getting up around 4 am (est.) so i can play against the west coast drunks and the euro tighties. easiest way to build that roll back up. gl man

yeah, everyone goes through it.

Just wait for that day when you cant do anything wrong. Your 96s runs into QQ and makes a flush on the river, etc..

As long as you're playing well and not getting frusterated. Dont be like... Fcuk it i'm going allin with AT who gives a fcuk
