Default 99 Full Speed

SB is a 28/21 TAG who is quite aggressive and occasionally gets out of line/tilts postflop. Are we giving SN's now? It's "Lelayz". Someone tell me if that's taboo and I'll edit.

MP is a typical loose passive/passive.

CO is about 36/16 and seems straightforward.

Is this turn raise too much? Could I have found a river fold?

I don't know what value is added by naming the opponent if he isn't some nut/predictable player.

As for the hand, I think I fold the river, as awful as doing it is. Once he doesn't even blink at 3betting the turn, I don't know what he'd lead the river into 2 players with that isn't a straight. I don't play this wacky game, but I'd be surprised if even a 10/20 got THAT out of line.

77 or TILT. I wouldn't fold getting 25:1 based on Dane's description.

Well, he/she is a multitabling regular who plays often, so I assume some here might be aware of his/her tendencies, perhaps better so than I. Still like I said if people feel this to be underhanded I'll edit it. I know the folks in Mid/High generally welcome SN's.

I 3-bet a pocket pair this good preflop.

I remember playing Lelayz numerous times at lower limits. He was always like 33/20 and tough to play against OOP. I wonder who he is????

I think you have to raise the turn here as a flush draw/77/KK/AA/T9 is possible from him, plus you have the added overlay from MP. Once he 3-bets the turn, I slow down and give him credit for a better hand, but no way do I consider folding. No way. So, I play it the same.

I play it the same on all streets including the turn raise. You have an overlay with MP sticking around and SB's flop action is more likely to be a fastplayed 2pair type hand or club draw. Since you said he has aggressive tendencies I'd be hard pressed to give him credit for an 8 until the turn 3bet.

Getting 23:1 vs. this guy on the riv it's an easy call too.

I threebet this preflop, but play all other streets the same.

Hmm, I certainly see nothing wrong with a 3-bet given our hand strength and position, but isn't the chance to often raise almost any non-A high flop and face the field with 2 bets worth more than the extra PF value? With a pot that is sure to be huge by the flop and a pair that is sure to be vulnerable I think it is.

I like a 3-bet because it keeps the pot as shorthanded as possible. I want to give the blinds and EP players as much incentive as possible to fold pre flop and increase my equity share of the dead money.

This is spot on what I think, and it changes the entire dynamics of the hand postflop. Hope he was tilting, though.
