Default What are your thoughts about a second monitor?

Allright I have the Dell 20.1 and love it, and recently got the idea to use my old 17" CRT as a side monitor to house one or two PLO or Stud tables in addition to my 4 main NLHE tables. I have no real interest in getting a second 20.1 because I don't want to 8 table and it just seems unnecesary to me.

So I go to Best Buy tonight to pick up a videocard that can supply two monitors and I wander into the LCD aisle, bad idea.

So now I want a second LCD, I'm thinking 17", which Dell sells at around 250$. I think the Sony monitors at bestbuy in the same range were in the 300s, but Ill have to check again.

Would anyone ever consider this, or just stick with the side CRT and save a couple hundred bucks?

I'd check out Ebay before you decide on anything.

If you're going to spend aroun $300 just drop another ~$100, and get another 2001FP. Even if you don't want to 8-table having all that extra space would be great. Plus matching monitors would look much better.

scour ebay for a bit, it's probably your best bet. i just picked up my second 2001fp on ebay, for $480 shipped. spend the extra loot (you'll get it back), and match those monitors.
