Totally player-dependent.

If the raiser is a known nut-pedddler, then you are drawing close to dead and need to get out.

If the raiser is a known maniac/idiot who constantly overvalues limit omaha hands, you can raise for value.

If the raiser is somewhere in between or unknown, then it's a tough hand to play. I think I'd lean towards 3-betting. If villain caps, I'd probably check-call down. But I play very little of this game, so this advice might be crap.

Since this is presumably the $0.50/$1 limit game at Party, I don't think I want to lay this hand down against typical Party player, who might think their smaller flush or set or two pair is good.

Still a good laydown, IMHO.

Interesting that you'd say that. I think it is probably one of the worst folds I've made since I started playing Omaha. I'm up against 16 cards and the odds that one of these 4 players has the nut flush isn't that good.

The question is, how often do you need to be correct in order to call this down? There are 8 SB in the pot. If you are wrong it will cost you 1 SB more on the flop, 1 BB on the turn, and 1 BB on the river to win 6BB, so you are getting implied odds of 6:2.5, or 2.4:1. Do you feel you are good 30% of the time here? With two players in I would be somewhat cautious. If LP would raise any flush here, then you probably have to call it down (or consider check/raising the turn to drive MP2 out), but if he's a solid player you need to fold.

(And of course, some of the time LP or MP2 will actually win if they fill up a set or have a straight flush draw that comes in.)

BTW, the chance that a single player has the nut flush here, given no other information, is (1*7*43*42/2) / 45C4 = 4.2%. For three other players it's approximately 12%. So it's probably worth taking a stab at the flop. The problem comes in that you often won't get paid off by a non-nut flush and will pay off a nut flush.

I'd definitely give an unknown player credit here until I get a read on him.

I'm 3-betting this nearly everytime at .50/1. You see a lot of junk at LOH, far worse than at PLO where people are capable of folding inferior flushes. If he caps, check/call down unless the board pairs.
