I screwed up every postflop street
Opponent is 27/19 over 2500 hands with postflop aggression factors of 3.2/3.2/2.6 and a 33 went to showdown.
I should just check-raise the flop and if 3-bet or raised on the turn plan on a showdown absent another spade, right? Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero raises, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero calls. Re: I screwed up every postflop street
Lead the flop, lead the turn, lead the river. If he has a good spade he will let you know. If hes calling with some crap spade, thats how it goes sometimes.

Re: I screwed up every postflop street
why lead the flop as opposed to check-raise?
I was thinking he bets most anything on the flop and its "easier" for him to raise a flop lead than to 3-bet a flop check-raise with a big spade. Plus if he can 3-bet the flop CR, I have charged him 1 more sb for the "free card". I feel I would have to call and check the turn if my flop donkbet is raised, would you play otherwise? |

Re: I screwed up every postflop street
Check-raise the flop and go from there... this is not a board you want to be playing top pair slow on.

Re: I screwed up every postflop street
and showdown unless another spade comes, right. Same whether he 3-bets the flop or raises a turn lead?

Re: I screwed up every postflop street
I lead the flop because I want 0 chance of a free card & I'm hoping to get raised & put 3 bets in on the flop.

Re: I screwed up every postflop street
K9 UTG 4-handed is also CO. I raise every time here 4-handed & expect to get a lot of really crappy players to call me with terrible hands because "its 4-handed"
