You would fold an overpair on a blank river in a 20BB pot?

Hey baron.

If you realise UTG has between 1 and 1.5 BB on the turn, it's probably better to bet it and let him raise on top.

Not to say I would fold, but the river and turn were far from blanks for the donkeys.

Hey man. Do you cap TT out of the BB Pre-flop also? I rather not cap with TT OOP.

What does capping the flop accomplish? Overpairs aren't going anywhere, neither are one card straight draws and overs.

Your equity will change dramatically depending on the turn, so shouldn't we wait until the turn before we start extracting value and start protecting our hand?

not on the 2nd hand at the table. i really dont understand how to play it any better. i was just sayin that agianst some players the riv bet means i have you beat. every once in a while against a very narrow range of players.

He had 1.05BB left on the turn. I thought about betting but knew that he would bet so I said what the heck let him bet. Him raising me here wouldn't have done anything but put in 0.05BB which I guess is fine. Oh well. I blame aK13 who conviced me to check there.

BTW, the correct river action is UTG bets 0.05BB, MP completes to 1BB, and I call 1BB.
