Default Blind defender leads paired flop HU

No read on villain, over about 30 something hands it shows him as 22/3/1.3.

What's yo line?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

against this type of weak tight controllable player, raise the flop. if he 3-bets fold. if he bets the turn, fold. if he checks the turn, check behind and hope he chekcs the river too. he's got a pcoket pair most of the time here I think

why call, he bets into a pre-flop raiser. He probaly has something,(probaly an 8?) you are out of position and the pot is absolutely not worth it.

I had a hard time putting him on an 8, the only hand with an 8 I'm calling with here against an EP raise is 88. I guess something like A8s is likely as he seems slightly loose over this tiny sample. I agree with sthief I think he has a pocket pair usually.

he is in the big blind, is see a lot of calls with Q8s K8s A8s A8 J8s even with those numbers. And of course what youre saying, so its still a fold :-)

The weako should've folded, the turn was a 9!

Is this a limit thing? at 2/4 I think villain is almost always calling the flop raise with a pocket pair. Also, who's to say he's weak-tight at this point?

I think we're raising mostly for a free card/showdown rather than hoping to fold a pocket pair. We also knock out stuff like AQ. I'm not sold on the idea of raising, though.
