Default Interesting SNG theory question - push with no FE UTG?

Here's a hand recently posted by Newt_Buggs...

** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to NewtBuggs [ Ks, 6h ]

My question is this: If you somehow knew you would be dealt Ks 8h on your BB if you folded this hand, would it be better to push or fold the K6o?

This post may seem counter-intuitive, but usually you're going to be heads up against EaRpLuGs_13 (BB) on the K6o hand with t1100 total in the pot.

On the next hand, you are usually going to be heads up against the BEST of three random hands with either t1000 or t1100 pot.

Am I way off in saying I prefer pushing the K6o?

why on earth did you make a new thread to talk about a hand that already has a thread about it? and to top it off, only to ask a slightly different question than in the original thread?

One of the flaws in your thinking is you might end up in a 3 way pot vs a 2 way pot on the next hand. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to play here (except to at least have something to push with). IMO, you're more likely be in a showdown by pushing here than being in the BB on the next hand. I frequently have 3 folds to me in the BB, especially considering the stack size of the SB in the next hand.

Sorry... I just felt my question deserved a new thread for some reason. In this post, I am really trying to find an equilbrium point where folding a hand UTG (such as K6o) would result in the same $EV as playing your BB... is the equivalent BB hand K8o, K9o, or perhaps something even stronger?

Right, since you are no doubt almost always getting called here, where as in the BB you are almost always just against whatever random hand the SB will have since the medium stacks will fold to SB unless they have a premium hand.

If I knew I were going to get the same hand, even though K6 is not the same as K8, I would fold and hope AA and QQ fight it out this hand.
