Absent an A or a K, yeah - in those cases I'm probably raising. This guy's stats indicate he is a maniac. He could be check-raising you here with just about any two, and I would certainly expect him to go nuts with a 7, any gutshot, a BD draw, etc. Until proven otherwise, a 78 VPIP with a 1.4 post-flop aggression is probably not folding the vast majority of flops he sees, which means he is betting and raising more often than calling despite seeing better than 80% of the flops. You simply can't fold to this guy. BB seeing the river woould be annoying and something to think about, but you need a heckuva lot more to lay this down than a C/R from UTG.

Even if he wasn't a maniac, you're getting 7+:1 to call the turn (with mister passive reasonably unlikely to raise you here behind) and you have somewhere around 6-7 outs and often as many as 9. So, IMHO, you should be seeing the river even if UTG was a TAG if the chances of being raised behind are not too great.

I'm calling and folding the river UI.

wow, thanks Catt for a clear explanation. I thought it was a pretty easy fold because I couldn't see myself ending up ahead of both of them often.

The fact that the Q is an over to my pair, and the flush draw lowering my equity, I feld ok folding.

Often I find myself calling these intending to fold the river UI, but since the pot gets big by then, I call and feel dumb doing so.

I'll have to move my lazy ass and post more hands.
