Default QQ underpair vs shortstack 5/10

shortstack is unknown, in fact this is the only hand we've ever played together.

three limp to me on button, i make it 65 with black QQ, SB (400) calls, others fold

K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (150)

he checks, i check

9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (150)

he checks, i bet 100, he calls

9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (350)

he's all-in for 250ish, i call

Default Re: QQ underpair vs shortstack 5/10

Hmmm.

I'll go ahead and make the assumption that short stack = donk.

I think we can eliminate a K, since he would have probably let you know, by this point.

His hand range is probably any pair (except probably AA, he woulda let you know by now) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x (doubtful it's the flush, can't see him pushing with that) or a 9.

He probably thinks it's a split pot, and is trying to take it down, and is trying to push you off an A.

If we can assume the hand range I suggested....

We lose to KK (3 combos) 44 (1 combo), 99 (1 combo), A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9x (2 combos), 9Ts (2 combos), 98s (2 combos) and maybe a couple of other connectorish hands.

We are ahead of A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x buttload of combos
JJ,TT,88-55,33-22 - 8 combos

Assuming donkish tendancies to bluff you with a lot of hands, I think the call is good.

Perhaps it's a leak of mine not to give short stacks enough credit, but it looks like I'm not alone, either.
