Vote do you make this call?
Im in the BB with 200TC posted and have 1200TC left behind that. Next hand blinds go 400-200. 7 people at table, folded to cutoff who goes all in for 1500, which given the rising blinds I figure he will do with any pocket picture cards. Do you call?

18 players left and only 4 get paid, altho there have been occasions where the final 10 made a deal, basically, I feel I need to get some chips to be in the running, BTW there are 50,000 TC in play

With only 4 getting paid, I'd probably call. You're an 11-9 favorite over 2 paint unsuited, and 2-1 over Ax (where x is less than 8). If he's got a pocket pair it's about even money that you're ahead (he probably wouldn't push all-in with 22 or 33, and he'd probably just raise with AA or KK).
If 9 places were getting paid, I'd fold.

With 18 people left, why would you fold if they were paying 9 rather than 4? I think he said there was 50k in chips. So you need about 5k for the final table but you have to bust 9 more players. You are a long way from the money (9 or 4).
