They just finished their Native American licensing for the state. They will probably be closest to Morgantown, WV. Start a college game...+++++EV |

Start a college game...+++++EV [/ QUOTE ] Honestly, if you can get a good college game with some loose action you can honestly make a significant amount. The most likely games you'll get going will be something like .5/.5 or 1/1 no limit, but played and arranged well you can easily manage around $10 and up per hour in such games. Beats a lot of campus jobs. Whatever you do though, don't ever, ever start up a college game that works on any kind of credit network. Don't start lending money to people for the game. Don't let people buy in "on paper." Demand cash. Always. |

WV is supposed to add table games to their racetrack/slot casinos to one-up PA but the legislation in the spring was put on hold. |

I would guess more like 15 tables all low limit/baby NL with some terribly structured midweek tourneys with jacked-up rake. either that or they will do some asinine rule like in florida to make it not even worth the 45 minute drive. By the way, the glass is half empty |

[/ QUOTE ] Slots only (for now), something like 15 licenses, nothing to do with Native Americans. [/ QUOTE ] You are correct, sir! My wife works in the industry, and I was going by memory of what she had told me. Here is the statute quote, since I'm total google-geek. "THE AUTHORIZATION OF LIMITED GAMING BY THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF SLOT MACHINES AS AUTHORIZED IN THIS PART IS INTENDED TO ENHANCE LIVE HORSE RACING, BREEDING PROGRAMS, ENTERTAINMENT AND EMPLOYMENT IN THIS COMMONWEALTH." Gen. Assy. of PA Bill #2330 Sooooo...slots only at this time, and it is the State, not Native American gaming. |
