Default 99 in MP - hu and peeling

I think one problem I have is that I can give up too easily sometimes and I'm trying to add some peels here and there. Haven't got two full orbits on villain yet but he seems to be on the loose and aggro side.

Party Poker (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG folds, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: (5SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.5BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (3.5BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, ...

Please rip my post-flop play into shreds.

Not good enough to warrant a calldown here IMHO

If you're trying to take this to sd...

Why not make it 2 on the flop?

Then either make your check on the turn or river, the standard is this guy more of a caller or bluffer play~

I figured the fact that he had called from SB put his cards somewhere around the board with at least gutshot, draw or maybe a low/middle pocket-pair but that it would be worth 1SB in a 6SB pot to see what would happen on the turn... I should probably just have folded until I had seen more hands from him.
