Crosspost: MGM vs. Mirage poker room rate

Poker rates for Aug. 17-22.
Mirage $99 wed, thurs., Sun. $139 Fri & Sat.= $575 + tax.
MGM- $179 rack rate minus $40= $139 for 5 nights= $695 + Tax. This is standard for Mirage, it could be higher on a busy weekend. The MGM could vary day to day, see below.
Call each hotels 800 # and ask for the Poker room. Kathleen at the Mirage and Dale at the MGM. Dale did say that he checks the rates daily and will grab a lower rack rate if available. So I guess that means it will only go down if possible. Also less hours he said at MGM, I know it is 6 hours on weekdays and 8 hours on weekends at Mirage but I did not ask Dale how many at MGM. 5 maybe. I have 3 guys who will play tons, so not worried this trip. Last time I went with the wife I had to get her to play a couple of hours, and she won! 8 hours with a wife wanted to do different things can be hard to get in.
