Since this is the forum....
My main league has some funky scoring that rewards QBs more than is typical:
6 pts for TD pass 1-20 yds 9 pts for TD pass 21-50 yds 12 pts for TD pass 51-100 yds 9 pts for TD run 1-20 12 pts for TD run 21-50 15 pts for TD run >51 1 pt for every 50 yds passing up to 200 yds. 1 pt for every 20 yds after 200 bonus 6 pts for 300 yd passing 1 pt for every 10 yds after 300 1 pt for every 10 yds rushing w/ 5 bonus pts for 50+ yds rushing Normal pts for int, fumbles, etc... given this scoring system, should i draft my QB higher than normal. I normally wait until very late to take my QBs and then normally pick two from the 8-12 range (i actually end up getting like my 5th or 6th rate QB since people pick QBs that i have ranked much lower ahead of them). |

Re: Since this is the forum....
well, it looks like the TD-stud RB's are more of a premium than the QBs, even. If this is just QB scoring then Culpepper McNabb and Vick are much more valuable

Re: Since this is the forum....
that's the scoring for all positions (as far as the distance TD's)
the yardage is similar for RB's w/ a 100 yard plateau (1 pt for 20 yds, bonus 5 pts at 100, then 1 pt for every 100) rushing: short td's 6 med td's 9 long td's 12 receiving or passing tds: short - 9 med - 12 long - 15 same for WRs but vice versa rushing/rec. pts for receptions, too. RBs: 5 pts for 3 rec. 7 for 5 rec. 10 for 7 rec. 1 pt for every rec after 7 WRs: 3 pts for 5 rec. 5 for 7. 10 for 10 rec plus 1 pt for every rec after 10. |
