Default I rarely do this...

Maybe once a session, if I'm feeling frisky. Should I be doing it more/less?

I have AQo in MP and raise after 1 limper.

BB, (tag who is probably a winner at the game and possibly a 2+2er) calls and limper calls.

Flop comes KdTcTh

limper checks, i bet, tag raises, limper folds, i call

turn brings an offsuit 4

i check, tag bets, i check/raise

This is really fancy for party 5/10 i know but i didn't think he had it when he popped the flop like that.

Thoughts?

I think he's got something to like. A preflop raiser from MP with a KTT flop sure looks like its hit you in some way. Likewise you're not even HU on the flop so you can discount slightly the chance he's on a pure bluff (though if he's a real thinker, he could do this knowing the limper will likely fold).

That being said, I think he has a K much more often than a T giving you 7 fairly solid outs. The other possibility is a semi-bluffing QJ that's firing OOP. You're getting odds to hit your 7 outer, and by the river are ahead enough of the time vs. a potential bluff that a call is probably +EV. If he's bluffing let him keep doing it instead of risking a 3-bet when you have several outs to draw to.

Sorry, I played this hand at home so I don't have the HH on me.

I think he raised me on the flop then I c/r on the turn (assuming he is on button), but it might have been him c/r me on the flop and I raise the turn after his bet.

The latter case is a little better since you can see a free showdown fairly often, but I still don't like it because a K isn't folding and a 3-bet sucks because you have outs for your gutshot.

I think I like a check call wayyyy more than a c/r here against a tag. I think there is just about 0 chance of him laying down a decent king here, and a blank on the river means you still have to follow through and fire again, doesn't it? I'd c/c my 7 outs.
