A note from your anonymous session poster
Hey micro folks,
Greg has suggested that it may be beneficial for the session poster to be able to respond to comments about the hands and offer up some thought processes about why certain hands were played in certain ways. To this end, I've registered a new account whose login/password will be passed onto each subsequent anonymous poster, so that the poster can interact with everyone else without biasing any replies. First, I just wanted to say that this has been an extremely useful exercise for me. I've been following all the hand discussion threads, and more than once people have raised points that didn't even occur to me during the play of the original hand. (I've wanted to jump in a few times but didn't want to slant any discussion, so I'm glad Greg suggested this anonymous account idea!) I would like to thank everyone who participated for taking the time and energy to help me improve my game. You guys rock. I'll be posting my thoughts on some specific hands where I had thoughts on how I played later, but I thought I'd made a few general clarifying comments first. All hands in this session were from 2 tables. The first 60 hands were from the first table. The next 20 (plus 40 more that didn't make it into the hand review post for some reason) were from the second table. So you all have access to the same information that I did at that table for developing reads on people. I agree that the fact that the converter automatically replaces names with positions does make this harder, since you can't tell if anyone got up and was replaced during the session. I'll try to post a summary of links to various threads about each hand. Once I've done that, I'll comment on my play in some of the more controversial hands. |

Excellent. I look forward to the conversation.
If you have overall questions or comments about your play not specific to an a individual hand, please post them too; maybe right here. |

It is so obviously you. -DeathDonkey [/ QUOTE ] I've got an 80% confident read on someone else based on the play, grammar, and punctuation, but I won't blow his anonymity (or make myself look like a dingus if i'm wrong). I don't think it's GC. |
