Default How tough are live 1-table satellites?

I tried playing in 3 $50++ live winner take all SNGs. I was 1 for 3. The play was terrible, worse than a $5 online SNG. However, I think they would be hard to beat in a significant may with the huge rake and small stakes.

How are $150-$1000 1-table satellites? I figure the rake is comparable to online for them and you could make real money. If they are only somewhat harder than the $50 ones, I think I could do well. How do they compare to $25 WTA satellites on Party?

I am an MTT player, and have a play to win style that does better in WTA satellites than online SNGs.

There is a 1-table tournaments forum. Perhaps that would be a better place to post this.
