3 bet set scary river

Villain recently capped KK preflop, called down the flop and turn bet heads up with an A on board, and checked the river when checked to. He also stop and goed A8 on a 234 board with just a gutshot and got raised on the flop and the turn, he check called the river with ace high. He knows how to be aggressive with MP+FD on the flop.

A very important piece of information: what's villain's pfr?

Looking at PT over 26 hands he's 42/11.5. At the time I don't think I had enough hands on him to get a read on his PFR%, even over 26 hands it doesn't say much.

Yeah, it's probably enough to know that he won't 3-bet A2 or A7; this looks like AA or 66. I guess you need to 3-bet it, pray, and take some serious notes whatever he turns over.

The postflop action tells us he doesn't have A7 or A2. The only hand possible is 77, and I don't think he'd 3 bet the turn, nor 3 bet the flop with it.

If the postflop action tells us he doesn't have A7, it also tells us he doesn't have 77. Whatever it is, he's obviously misplayed something but it looks like something you're ahead of.

He's not playing any hand that has a straight this way unless he's a complete LAG.

3-bet that all day. he doesn't have the straight enough times to make this river 3-bet -EV
