10/20: JJ takes a Questionable Free Card
I'm in LMP with a black JJ. UTG, who is loose and stuck and probably gambling to try and get even raises. Folded to me and I 3-bet. Folded to the BB who calls and we see the flop 3 handed. Flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG bets out I raise and BB folds. Turn is a blank, 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and UTG checks to me and I check behind.

Re: 10/20: JJ takes a Questionable Free Card
If 10/20 is micro then I need to kill myself, but I dont see anything wrong with this... You arent beating anything that raises, calls a 3-bet, and then leads a KQT flop...
And you dont want to bet him off something you beat... so take the free card and call 1 if you dont improve and pump the crap out of it if you hit I like it |

Re: 10/20: JJ takes a Questionable Free Card
Yeah I know 10/20 isn't micro but I like the feedback I get here better Though this hand didn't spark much interest apparently.
Thanks for replying. That's exactly what I was thinking but the presence of the two hearts seems to make it a marginal line; though it does allow me to get to showdown cheaply against someone who is gambling to get unstuck. |
