Default Playing in Internet Cafes

Hey - This is for people everywhere. I want to know if most internet cafes and such have some way to download partypoker onto their computers. Usually if you save in a place like MyDocuments, it works in school computer clusters and at Kinko's. I'm curious about other types of places...

Do they tend to have strict administrator privileges banning you from installing poker software during a session?

Any info is great.

Do holler soon.

Id be careful playing in internet cafes just because of the high risk of keyloggers installed in the computer. At the very least dont log into neteller, and run a program to screen the comp before you log into your party account.

Yes in theory you could play at most internet cafes. However you are putting your whole bankroll at risk -EV

This is a really, really, really, bad idea. Internet cafes are some of the most unsecure places in the world. Anyone with any ability at all can very easily steal your password/get your credit card information.

In theory, the machine is already potentially compromised so the results of your screening program are tainted and prove nothing.

Make sure you check the box that says Remember my Screenname and Password. That way, people can play on your account after you leave and make money for you.

I've done the quiz on VC at an internet cafe'. Admittedly I was a bit worried about keyloggers but I never had any problems afterwards (and I didn't change my password).

At the Gutshot club in London there is a bank of computers you can use to play poker on, and they're always busy.

I'm playing at one right now.

I believe there were some around here who claimed that hacking into my account is not as easy as some would think.
I know nothing about this sort of stuff though.

I play at an internet-cafe about 2x/week I suppose and have never had any problems.
