Hand Against Loosie PP 2/4NL 6max QK Flops Trips
Villain is 74/54 and plays loose postflop. he is either on the biggest rush of his life or he's a postflop genius, i can't really tell though because he wins something like 75% of the time he sees a flop due to massive overbetting. when he has been called, he's shown down quads, the nut flush and full houses, all to pull monster pots.
I'm (900) on BB with QKs, he's on button with 1800 PF Two limps, he makes standard raise to $10, I call, limpers call. F QQ4r (40) I lead for 40, he calls T QQ48r (120) I checkm, he bets $150, I call R QQ485r (420) I check, he bets 500, I call fim |

Once he overbets the turn, I like your river line. If he made a value-ish bet on the turn, I'd probably bet the river and expect him to call with his pocket pair. If he checks the turn, I'm definitely betting the river. Probably big.

I think you are ahead more often than 50% here (QJ, Q10 or even AA/KK are still possible) I would raise allin on the river.
Also I love flop bet many Villains wont believe in trips after such a bet. Best wishes |

i love the line. his betting suggests either full house or nothing, so this is the best way to do it. nice hand.

I like the flop bet ... youll get called by this player, and it make you appear to not have the KQ. I like how you played the turn, but I probobly would have raised the river.

I like your line. I had a very similar situation near the bubble in a tourney last night and pulled down a huge pot using the same line against an agressive over better. If I remember correctly he bet off about 2/3 of his stack on that hand.

[ QUOTE ]
why bet the flop? or have you been betting the flop with any 2 here? [/ QUOTE ] so he can "outplay" me when i pull the classic fish "i give up" line of betting the flop then checking the turn. |
