Default Types of Books

Anybody notice that most of the poker books by 2+2 are all similiar and really only half the book is new knowledge of any type? Have you found any books that really distinct them self from the rest on Hold'EM. Such as dont pound implied and pot odds and simliar things but acutally go through thinkin for a good portion of the book.

Default Re: Types of Books

Perhaps the general principles of poker are covered in each book so that if you just want a book about Hi-Lo games, you don't have to also buy the 7 Card Stud book to get the general principles. And it certainly doesn't hurt to review the basics every once in a while.

I think that any book that is half review of general principles and half new knowledge is about 1000% better than most of the crap you find on the shelf at Barnes and Noble.

Sorry, no one can help you with that.
