Default AA vs limp reraise

No read on villain, he hadn't been involved in many pots at the table, he certainly was not a lag. I was probably seen as somewhat laggish, I had been steal raising and caught alot. Should I give him credit for TT or pop another on the river?

1/2 Party 6 max, 6 handed

Hero is CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG limps, folded to hero in CO, Hero raises, blinds fold, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls

Flop 7.5 SB

UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3 bets, Hero caps

Turn 7.5 BB

River 15.25 BB

you're probably splitting, but i'll throw in 1 more bet on the river just for the times i see KK (as per adsman). why didn't you cap preflop?

I don't know about splitting, you're probably looking at TT-KK. But to echo Absolute, why didn't you cap preflop?

I didn't cap preflop to conceil my monster hand in this HU pot. He limp reraised so I put him on a pretty strong hand and expected lots of action postflop if I just called the 3-bet.

I don't think KK or QQ slows down if you cap PF.

Well, whatever he's got he likes it a lot!

As he's not a lag you've got to give him credit to beat a single pair most of the time. I'd call.

-Grunching-

How are you not capping this PF?

At the river you're behind to a set or to a 6. It seems unlikely that UTG would 3-bet with a small pair, and likewise unlikely that he would have 3-bet with a 6 in his hand, even pocket 6s, UTG.

I'm raising the river for value and expecting KK or QQ from the villain.
