Default How do you calc probability of any 2 card holding at Hold\'em

I'd like to know exactly how to calculate the odds of someone receiving any 2 card combination pre-flop.

AQ, 72, etc... any 2 card combo

-Thanks.

Well...assuming you're disregarding suits and you're looking for unpaired combinations, like A-Q for instance.

There are C(52,2) combinations of cards you can hold...or 1326.

There are C(4,1) * C(4,1) ways to hold A-Q...or 16. 16/1326 = 1.2%
