Default S. Ct. Nominee

Edith Jones is the favorite on tradesports right now. Her contracts are trading at about even money.

Not surprising considering that the other 2 favorites (Alberto Gonzales, Edith Clement) have seen strong indications that they will not be nominated.

Default Prolly Not Going To Be Jones...

..read something that she is still in Texas today. And of course, it ain't Clement.

Cain't believe the name ain't leaked. Prolly means it's Gonzales or Luttig. Brown is in Washington, but she's on the DC Appeals Court now. Haven't heard she was interviewed.

Lots of money lost on this one...President Bush has chosen federal appeals court judge John C. Roberts Jr. as his nominee to the Supreme Court

Nuclear option. Not saying he's a bad choice, but there will be a filibuster/override.

Once they announced it wasn't Clement, I bought some Luttig contracts at 5:1. Whoops!
