$40? I know I didn't pay $40 for that little spiral bound green book. But It was probably worth $40, to me. If you're around Vegas, just check The Gambler's Book store. (not the general store.)

It's basically just a lot of numbers/statistics on hold'em including derivations.

Gambler's Book Shop has it for $24.99. The description they have seems accurate

I don't have my copy on hand or I'd give a quick rundown of the contents.

The part I found very helpful was the odds of hitting the flop in various ways given certain preflop holdings. Like, how often you get a flop that gives you gutshot+flush draws when starting with suited connectors, or how often you hit a flop to get 14 out draws to an overpair when starting, preflop, with a suited A, ect...

It has odds for being delt particalar cards preflop. It gives odds for opponent holdings at certain points. And, of course, it has the basic % to complete certain hands from both the flop and turn.

Having the book on hand while reviewing my game helped me a lot. That being said, there is a reason it's not at the local Barnes and Nobles, and it's hard to tell if it's exactly what you're looking for or not.

This book will help the mathematically challenged.
I have this book, and it helped me figure out the odds.
A very worthwhile investment.

I recommend this book. It has a lot of mathematical information and clearly explains how to do probability calculations for yourself.

My volume is paperback, not spiral bound. The only thing I didn't like about it was the font. The publisher used a cheap, typewriter-looking font that is not as easy on the eyes as a typical typesetting font. Hopefully that was corrected in a later edition.
