Default Down to 5 in $1 SNG, fold top pair?

Start with 2k chips, 9 players, top 3 itm

50-100 blinds

Hero is BB with 1600 chips and {Ks, 8c)
UTG folds (4000 chips)
UTG+1 limps (1800 chips, no read as he's been disconnected the whole game)
Button folds (2100 chips)
SB limps (extremely loose, calling station, has about 9000 chips)
HERO checks

Flop: Kd 2s 9d
Pot size: 300

SB bets 100
Hero min-raises to 200
UTG+1 folds
SB calls

Turn: Ac
Pot size: 70

SB checks
HERO bets 400
SB calls

River: 6d
Pot size: 1500

SB pushes allin (has me way covered, I have 1000 chips left)
HERO folds

Was my play right here?
I figured I was behind to an ace, a flush, two pair, or a higher kicker king

I bet the turn to see if I could scare him off, but forgot you can't bluff a calling station

You turbomuck here once you're at the river, but there's no way I'm ever seeing this river.

Raise to t300 on the flop, push any non-ace turn. Considering the ace flopped, I would check behind on the turn and call any small bet on the river. (this might be bad)

i like all of this. i think you've got to fold when a calling station comes to life like this.

ok, i did fold on river, but what about my turn bet?

I think checking turn means he auto-bets river, whcih means i auto-lose

By your own admission, villain was a calling station. When calling stations lead the betting, especially an all-in, you have to know he has a big hand, in this case a flush.

You needed to raise much more on the flop to get the drawing hands out, or at the very least know where you stand. Min re-raises achieve neither of these goals.

Against a calling station a big raise accomplishes neither of these goals either and gets you pot committed faster.
