Reckless or TAG
Live 5-150 I have about 1600 behind, villian has about 700 behind. Villian is a regular player that I have booked many hours with. He is tight and generally aggressive. He is feeling frustrated with a bad run of cards tonight and is down from about 1800 at the time I sat the table.
PR: Folds to the villian in CO, he makes his standard opening of 25, I have the button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and RR to 75 total, everyone else folds, he flat calls. Flop: Q83 rainbow; CO leads for 50. I feel he is weak here, he most likely would have bet smaller or checked a set here. I think about it for a minute and decide to flat call instead of raising. Turn: K completing the rainbow; CO leads out for 100, I quickly RR 150. He thinks for a minute and mucks AK face up. |

The beauty of reraising AK preflop. I love it.

The beauty of reraising AK preflop. I love it. [/ QUOTE ] Pounding on people who are running bad and may question themselves is usually a good plan. I'm still surprised that he laid that down though given that it was spread limit. Well played I think. mj |
