TT Postflop hand
This is from a multi, but I thought I'd post it here because MTT is swarmed with WSOP stuff, and I like the advice here.
Blinds 100/200. Villain T2000 Me T5500 Villain open limps in the CO. I raise to 800 on the button with TT. Blinds fold and villain calls. Flop: J 7 2 rainbow. Villain pushes his last 1200, I call. Pretty easy call? I figured he has a smaller pair or 2 overcards enough times to justify the call given the pot odds. Edit: Full Tilt $11 tourney. Players are generally tight, and most are decent. Villain hadn't done anything crazy yet. |

Re: TT Postflop hand
You've got to be wondering why the heck this guy who you haven't seen do anything fishy is limping from the CO when he has a 10xbb stack and could probably pick up the blinds by just open pushing. This looks alot like someone getting creative with Aces/Kings or someone putting you on a steal and trying to resteal on the flop.
So, I think you've got to call getting 2.5:1 on the call. |

Re: TT Postflop hand
Weird hand. Villain limped with JTs. These players here are a different animal from party, although calling still seems correct here.
