I may be overplaying QQ here, but I would raise the turn. I think there's a good chance he's bluffing the scare card. If he's got AA, I think he'd cap pre-flop, and if he's got Ax, the 3-bet on the flop is dubious.

1st: how did MP bet first on the flop? wouldn't that have been you?

2nd: w/o any reads, there really isn't any way to make a guess at this. i think after he capped the flop and led back into you, yes i would probably have folded.

You're absolutely right action was on me, i bet he raised I 3bet he capped. I check called the ace and spade. He ended up having a set of 8s, the preflop raise threw me off but i had no reads, still thought most ppl wouldnt raise 88 or lower here, i was wrong. basically if he didnt have a set, he raised overcards, or a flush draw, or both. the a was one of them, so i thought about mucking there. The spade i definately shoulda mucked, any more opinions?

If I'm villian, I cap that flop with any overpair. I like the call down here, but I'm not a fan of folding. The pot is big. Call it down and hope he has jacks.
